LQGI/LTR based robust control technique for a pressurized water nuclear power plant

This work proposes a new hybrid control strategy for pressurized water type nuclear power plant by integrating linear quadratic integrator (LQI), Gaussian (LQG), and loop transfer recovery (LTR) approaches. The multi-input multi-output model adopted in this is characterized 38 state variables. nonlinear linearized around steady-state operating conditions to obtain the controller design. proposed LQGI/LTR technique designs state-feedback assisted output using estimated states. architecture offers robust performance tracks reference set-point with zero error presence of uncertainties disturbances. effectiveness demonstrated simulations on different subsections model. further compared other classical design schemes. Statistical measures are employed quantitatively analyse performance.
